Wild Arms Music the Best - Rocking Heart

http://www.gmronline.com/info.asp?CatNumber=KICA-1416

Wild Arms rock arrange album. I'm sold.

Anyone know who will be arranging/performing?

No info yet, AFAIK...But you can bet I'm waiting/looking for some info.

Toka and Ge -> Rockin' = WIN

Actually...There isn't a single track on the Rocking Heart album I'm not dying to see.

I do wonder though, if they're going to arrange the vocals as instrumentals or if they're going to do the Black Mages "Otherworld" treatment (mild arranging, different singer).

And in other news:

I'm generally not big into piano arranges, but "Into the Wilderness" on piano HAS to be good.

Oh cool. I heard about this album, but the description I had seen said that this was music from the Wild Arms anime series. Seems that's only partly true.

Well, the music from anime shouldn't be bad, after all, it's composed by Kow Otani and from the samples I've heard, it's probably more western than Naruke's WA-tunes and little bit Morricone sound too.
Just got the feeling from your post that you we're 'disappointed' to see that the piano album would have just the music from the anime.

Anyways, as GoldfishX knows from STC, I can't wait to get these two albums into my cdplayer. Especially the Rock Arrange album, it can't be bad. (But with my luck, now that I said that, it will suck badly)

Not disappointed, but I haven't heard the anime music, and didn't know who the composer was, so I didn't know what to expect. Otani is a good composer though, so now I may want to check out the music anyway.

oh snap! I just found out that Ryo Yonemitsu will be doing the arrangement for this album. I was already sold when this album was first announced, this revelation just solidifies it. Yonemitsu has never disappointed me. I'm expecting this album to be great.

I really hope this is serious. Not often I feel like I can die happy if the world ends an hour after I get this album.

But damn...12 years since his last serious game arrange (Ys IV Perfect Collection Vol. 3). Two and a half months to wait is downright torturous.

Wild Arms=gold
Yonemitsu's arranging=gold

Mix 'em together and= :edgarrock: :edgarrock: :edgarrock:

I'm looking forward to this - I love some of the battle themes from wild arms listed in this album - classics such as critical hit and battle force ^^

Dhsu Jul 26, 2006 11:52 AM

Haha...these Engrish album titles always crack me up. :)

Onyx Jul 26, 2006 06:05 PM

Oh shit, Yonemitsu is doing this? We all know how good his arranging skills are. This is no doubt going to be the album to watch in October. I can't wait.

Any current or former member of JDK never disappoints.
