Trauma Center: REVOLUTION

Yes, this isn't a typo, apparently, it's been confirmed that Trauma Center will be coming to the Revolution possibly as a LAUNCH title.

What now?

Apparently however, it's not yet confirmed whether or not it will continue the original storyline from the DS, but here's hoping.

What do you think of this? Anything you guys are hoping for or NOT hoping for with this game?

Personally, I can't wait for it, and I hope it's as intuitive with the Revo remote as it is with the stylus on the DS. To me, it doesn't really matter whether or not it continues the story from the DS game. Either way, I'm sure it will have a great story and even better gameplay.

Yeah, I can see this working. I wonder if it will be as difficult.

Screw the haters. Revolution is going to kick ass.

Akai-chan Mar 5, 2006 07:10 PM

I'm wondering how graphic this one will be, considering it would really have to be to really give the feeling of performing an operation...But no matter, I am eagerly awaiting its appearance at E3...

It's all well and good for the DS since you actually touch the screen with your stylus, but won't it be difficult to be precise using that wireless pointing controller that the Revolution has?

Neogin Mar 5, 2006 09:48 PM

Ah, I remember reading this before. The DS version wasn't half bad, so, I'm assuming the Revolution version should be a success as well. And to think, we scratched the surface about the Revolution..

I assume a cursor (eg, your instrument) will be implemented...

J-Man Mar 5, 2006 10:27 PM

How much more graphic can they make games?

Oh, I know, lets cut into people with a scalpel.

Trauma Center? Half bad?

GET THE FUCK OFF MY INTERNETS.

Trauma Center is fan-fucking-tastic. The only regret I have about it is I bought it instead of Pheonix Wright, right before Capcom said "fu pheonix wright make way for a megaman rehash."

No, seriously, you should (re)play it. It's really hard, but so fun.

I dunno how well it will would translate over to the Revolution, though. It worked well for the DS, because it was very realistic in doing everything with the stylus, but I just can't see having to do the fast-paced things very well with the Revolution controller.

Hello, I'm Doctor Stupid! I'm going to take out your liver bones! Oops, you're dead!

Nekobo Mar 6, 2006 01:30 AM

I'm excited, like a surgeon, for the very first time.

Rockgamer Mar 6, 2006 03:10 PM

Isn't there already a Trauma Center sequel for the DS released in Japan? I'd rather see that come here instead of a Revolution version.

Megalith Mar 6, 2006 04:59 PM

You get to do breast implants in this, right.

You are probably thinking of Tendo Doctor 2, a sequel to another doctor/surgery sim unrelated to Trauma Center.

Oh I guess so. I would still rather have a DS sequel rather than one on the Revolution.

And on an unrelated note, why hasn't Tendo Doctor come out here in America? After the moderate success of Trauma Center, you'd think someone would pick it up and release it here.

J-Man Mar 6, 2006 10:42 PM

Wonder if we get to perform any sex changes, or other intense body modifications.

Cal Mar 6, 2006 11:07 PM

Oh, North America. Surgery is for correcting ailments to ensure physical well-being, not tits and cocks.

Heh.

Be careful where you set those expectations.
