Rockman ZX
Game Rip: http://www.atomic-fire.com/index.php...sic_src_zx_zx1
Game Info: http://www.capcom.co.jp/rockman_zx/ Anyway, I've been listening to this for the past week, and it's growing on me a lot. At first I didn't think it would stand up to the Rockman Zero soundtracks, but now I think it's on the level (while I don't know if it can reach the status of RMZ2~4, it's at least much better than RMZ1). For one thing, the style is different from the Zero games, and IMO, the songs seem to fit better with where they are played. Many songs feel generally more cheery. Instruments that don't normally show up in Rockman games, like the piano and (synth) violin, make appearances here. A few songs have strong trance/dance elements. And some of the tracks even remind me of other games, such as Sonic CD. Since this game, like Rockman Zero, is developed by Inti Creates, I have little doubt that sound team III is once again at the helm. While this soundtrack has a different feel, some of the songs' compositions give away that at least some of the previous composers have returned to work on this game. My personal guess is that Ippo Yamada did most of this soundtrack, as this was the case with RMZ1 & RMZ3. In any case, we should know for sure, pending the announcement of REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZX *crosses fingers*. Favorite Tracks: Area A - Forest - Theme of Rockman ZX Area C - City Area E - Power Plant Area F - Lake Area H - Amusement Park Area I - Imprisonment Facility Area J - Marine City Last Area - Serpent Company Theme of Guardian Versus Prometheus & Pandora Ending Credits |
I agree completely, I am offically addicted to the main theme now. And the game i cant wait to play!
|
Yeah I Agree I Can't Wait To Play It Since Its Like The Other Rockman Zeros This One Would Be Good And My Favourite Tracks are:
Area C - City Area H - Amusement Park |
The music is good. I havent listened much of it, but I like most of them when listening at first time. Apparantly, a commercial single has been out already, but strangely it's not the one this trailer
Oh yeah, why the rip sounds bit in low quality ? The rip quality of Rockman EXE 5 does much better than this. -__- |

I started listening to the first few songs in the rip but I wasn't impressed.
The main theme already pales in comparison to Zero's Esperanto. I'm not hearing anything that really makes me want to keep listening. All the songs have something that hooks you to it but in the end, I'm not wanting to continue. Maybe the Remastered tracks will change my mind (they are making it, right?) but as of now, I'll cling to my Rockman Zero Remastered Tracks. |
The Rockman ZX arrange album has been announced! It's called "ZX TUNES". Read more about it here:

Awesome.
I'll definitely listen to that. I shall listen to Rockman Zero Remastered Physis to celebrate! |
That is a great news indeed. Definitely going to preorder that when available (on vgmworld most likely hehe).
|
October 27th release, I think.
Someone might want to translate the ZX TUNES banner here: http://www.inti.co.jp/ |
32 remastered tracks, including PV image song "Innocence" by CAO.
|
Thanks! Though the game rip had 35 tracks. I wonder which 3 are getting the shaft. Hopefully nothing major.
|
VGMWorld is now taking preorders :)
http://www.vgmworld.com/catalog/inde...&item_num=1104 "SHIPPING WILL BE AFTER OCTOBER 4th, 2006" typo here :p 37 tracks ? |
After checking out a few of the songs on the gamerip, I'm getting pumped for this album's release. I've went ahead and ordered it. It should be nice.
|
I've been playing the game at a decent clip and this is probably my favorite Inticreates work, musicwise (although I haven't heard the original music from Zero 4...Physis was a great album). Both this and the Wild Arms Rock Arrange ensure October as a great month, release-wise.
BTW, the game is pretty sweet as well, if you can get used to using both the R and Y buttons for both weapons, plus B for jump and occasionally L for dash. The larger size of the DS and additional, but close-together buttons have me looking down sometimes to get myself set right. Recommended action-platforming. It's kind of hard, but nowhere near the insanity of Zero 2. |
I already have this preordered, along with the new Area 88 album. I'm really fond of ZX's soundtrack now, so I'm really looking forward to this.
|
Awesome! Thanks a million bro. :edgarrock:

Namiki, Kaida, Hayama, and Kosaki to provide bonus arrangements!
http://www.atomic-fire.com/index.php..._from=&ucat=9& This just keeps getting better! |
You probably know this, but there's awesome samples from the album at Inti's website.
<3 Green Grass Gradation. Can't wait until this is released! |
I didn't check recently, so thanks for the heads up!
You can find a prototype version of the ZX TUNES' Green Grass Gradation on Atomic Fire. Specifically right here. |

There's a new sample at Int's website. It's called Misty Rain, and it's the arrangement for the background music played in Area I of the game.
It's great, of course. |
Thanks for the info. The track is indeed great. The female vocal is a really neat touch, IMO.
|
So, the album will be out tomorrow! Taking the time difference into consideration, it has probably been out in Japan already :D if only for a few hours.
In the name of all that is holy, someone has to rip it and upload it here ASAP! To paraphrase IGN, my frothing demand for this album increases! |
Yeah, I just noticed that VGMWorld had charged my account for the album, so I hope to get it in a couple days. I'm really psyched about it.
