ZipZoomFly.....Yay or nay?
So I already ordered a Tablet PC off of ZipZoomFly and am now reading horror stories of their tech support. Damn. Has anybody here actually dealt with ZipZoomFly and is willing to talk about their experience with them. (Formerly known as Googlegear).
|
I've bought a number of things from them in the past and haven't had any troubles with the quality of the items or the correctness of my order. No clue how they are if shit goes wrong, though.

YaY.
Zipzoomfly is great. Specifically, they have great hard drive prices and good *sales* service. I've bought from them a few times and have been very pleased. If they would update there site to search more specific options like newegg, they would be VERY competitive because of price and *sales* service. In terms of customer service after the fact.... well not too sure 'cause I havent dealt with them on this. At least, I dont think I have. I did deal with either newegg or zip on a return once. All went well. |
Yay because everytime I shop there I never have a problem. Plus most of their items (from what I buy) are 2nd day free shipping.
|
They are generally very reputable, but they've been having some trouble recently.
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1991.html I've ordered a few things from them in the past, though, and I've always had a good experience. |
Ok, well how long would it take for me to get a "special order" item. More specifically, exactly what IS a special order item?
|
I would e-mail or call them about that.

ZZF sucks; Googlegear was fine.
I bought a case for a PC I was building, last time I shopped there. I was SOL as it was listed as a Midsize case, but they neglected to mention it was low-profile. Impossible to install everything. Newegg, or bust. |
