What's out in March?
 

A staple classic thread I have an obsession making. Not just to create some sort of routinary list every month, but to remind us all of the one or two games we might have forgotten over time. Anyway, here's the list. :)

I thought the original Xbox was officially dead following the 360's release? I guess not. March is the first half decent gaming month of the year.

Both on my birthday. How cool :megaman:

Kingdom Hearts II and Suikoden V come out on the same day. I've already finished the Japanese version of KHII, so I'll probably play that one last. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and Tales of Phantasia are also ones I may pick up.

Lula 3d was a february game that much i know (or at least I'm pretty sure that that piece of crap did not last as long as March on my hdd).

Outrun 2006 will come out for PS2, Xbox and PSP I believe, with a PC port in May or so.

Metroid Prime and Tao's Adventure for the DS should be amazing, along with Tetris. It's a shame that the Gamecube is going downhill, though..we really don't have much to look forward to..

Also, Odama got pushed to April, so nothing other than Tetris DS interests me.

And this basically comes out in Tuesday, which is fortuntately my birthday. Huzzah! Now this would fit for a present for me. :)

I'll get the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Collector's Edition for nothing, even although my PC won't be able to play this game with minimal details. However, since it won't cost anything for me, I'm not going to bitch. I should finally get my new PC this summer, so I have to kill time with looking at the boxart. Could be worse.

PS2: Kingdom Hearts II. I've been itching to continue the Kingdom Hearts story for too long now.

.... and that's about it. There was a GBA game i was interested in, Pirate Battle i think it was called, i'd like to pick that one up, but i haven't heard anything about it since last november i think.

The only game that interests me is the very first game on the list.

But I'll probably get Kingdom Hearts II as well, mabye even Metroid Prime Hunters to see how they truly implemented FPS controls onto the DS. The one thing I really liked about Kingdom Hearts was the boss battles, but that was really it. Still, I had fun, and hopefully I'll have fun playing KHII as well.

March 21st is my birthday too.


I may pick of Oblivion if my PC can handle it (I heard the specs were really high for this game).

I'm all over Metroid Prime Hunters, and I'd also like to eventually get Phantasia, Tetris, and Oblivion (if I ever even get my 360)...

But I'm going to be so busy for the next two months that they'll all be stashed away anyway...

Kingdom Hearts II is pretty much the only new game I may get this month. Tetris DS is another possibility, but not right away, especially since it'll be $35.

I still have my eyes set on a bunch of games already recently released, like 24: The Game. I might also pick up another DS or NBA title.

Rocca, I had thought of doing this exact same thing before but was always to lazy. Good on you. I'm not sure if this use to be around, but please, keep it up.

March 20, 2006 Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Collector's Edition, The

My roommate picked up a 360 two days ago and only a preorder of Oblivion to go with it. I've never been able to get into the ES titles myself but the trailers and word on this gets me excited to at least spectate.

March 7, 2006 Shadow Hearts: From the New World

I'm not the rabid fan of the series some people seem to be, but Shadow Hearts has proven to be an unique experience which is a big selling point for me. I'll probably wait a little while to pick it up.

I'll be awaiting for Oblivion and probably taking a day or two off work just to play it :)

As for the other games Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Kingdom Hearts 2 is on my to buy list, but I figure that Oblivion will take me a while.

I'm definitely going to be grabbing Suikoden V. I'd like to get the new Shadow Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, but I've been spending a lot of money lately and I'd rather hold off for as long as possible.

Sadly, that's the only game that really interests me this month. Oh well, it will give me more time to work on beating Dragon Quest VIII

I'm getting KHII around the release date, almist certainly as a birthday present for my sister who has waited for the game since beating the original.

Oblivion is the game to get for me. I'm pre-ordering the second I can get a good deal on the collector's edition.

I'm also probably picking up MGS3: Subsistience if it comes with that movie DVD I've been hearing about.

I'll wait for a good price on the other games I want this month, including KH2, SH:FtNW, FSW:TH, Suikoden V, and Onimusha 4. I want Far Cry Insticts Predator, but I lack a 360, so that will wait.

Believe it or not, this is the first time I've seen an actual street date (March 28, 2006) for Kingdom Hearts II. Even the sites I regularly check, like RPGFan, still have that one listed as Spring 2006. I hope it's accurate, though; Squeenix has teased its loyal fans with that one for bloody *years*.

No problem, I enjoy posting the release lists myself, since there's always one or two titles I completely forgot about.
