DVD to *.MKV
 

So I'm using doom9's suggestions on software and following their guide. I made one last night of a DVD (anime, so that's why the MKV...dual audio) but the VOBs are all mixed up.

They seem fine...but the last VOB or so just has a few of the endings. Each file is the same length, so ep1 fits on VOB1 and 2, and episode2 is on VOB2 and 3...so without converting the whole thing in its weird entirety, how might I go about organizing and/or splitting the video up to do each episode with its corresponding opening/closing?

Feel free to ask more questions. I can upload the weird one if you want (400MB, 4 episodes)

Making mkvs is easy, you just need the right tools.

replace the xxx with w w w

The hardest part is ripping the dvd, but autoGK can do it. (I think?)

Well, I guess I should have added that I have all the required software (says Gordian Knot and doom9). Its using it that's tough...duhh. :(
