Has anyone seen these commercials for the Volkswagen GTI? Might be a bit old, but still, this is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a while. Maybe it's even funnier if you're actually from Germany.

I like this weird "VW" sign he does with his hands. It's a little cheesy, but I like how they present Germany as being "weird" but at the same time praise the engineering skills and make fun of this whole "car pimping" nonsense.

If you've seen Prison Break, it's extra hilarious.

I find them funny, if only for the reason the that they make fun of all these people who "supe up" their cars, trying to improve them. What's even funnier is he even does so while talking in some form of gangsta talk. It's great, but not hilarious.

The first time I saw those commercials they just about killed me, especially with the VW sign he does with his hands. But then again, I'm German and the thought of a German speaking like that cracks me up. Although it is a pretty good satire on the people who are always trying to trick out their cars.

I've seen them all on TV already. They're dumb but it's funny when she says "it's definately sucking"((end thickish german accent)).

That's some funny stuff. Hearing him say, "Oh Snap!!" made me lol. Interesting to note though, I came across a few reviews of the commercials and this turned up...

I love these new Volkswagon commercials. My particular favorite one is the commercial with the green car. The one with that freaking monstrosity on the hood, painted in yellow. That dialogue gets me ROFL-ing all the time:

Man: "What does this do?"
Kid: "It.... sucks in air."
Woman: (Immediately replies) "It's definately sucking."

(Goes to watch it again, once more.)

Heh, my friend forced me to watch this. It wasn't amazing, but hey, I like it.
