Email Notifications
 

Even though I have these features enabled, I don't seem to be getting any e-mail upon recieving new PMs or upon people replying to subscribed threads with daily notification.

Was that ever enabled here? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I remember posts on the last incarnation of the boards from people with the same problem, and it emerged that e-mail notifications were turned off to save bandwidth (and annoyance for morons who don't know how to disable it :p).

No, I got e-mail notifications all the time for both PMs and subscribed threads. The only thing I remember not working previously was weekly notification of subscribed threads. Daily notifications were fine, however.

I got e-mail notification on a PM a few days ago. :\

EDIT: ... at least I thought I did. I can't find record of the e-mail anywhere. :(

I get email notifications for PMs.

I'm not signed up for thread emails.

That would be several thousand emails a week.

This is definitely not working for me.

"Enable Private Messaging" and "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages" are both enabled. I've gotten several PMs but no e-mails. Also, I've yet to recieve any e-mails for Daily subscribed threads.

I have "Receive Email from Administrators" ON, but I have "Receive Email from Other Members" OFF. Could this be the problem?

All other mail I receive is working as normal.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Miles never gave me an e-mail address when he registered my account. FAIL AT LIFE. :boxing:
