Some help with my monitor
 

Hello all. I hope someone out there can help me out.

For the past week, the gamma seems to be too bright and gives off a fuzzy like effect. I've played around with the monitor's settings and Intel Extreme Graphics but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, it's only clear when I darken the screen but it's way too dark. This happens when playing a movie clip or DVD movie or even viewing images online and off.

I've already re-formatted. Would it be a problem with the plug or wires?

LMAO. You probably don't have any idea, but those screenshots you took look perfect to me. Chances are your monitor is well on it's way to being dead. How old is it?

The video you're playing is probably not showing true black, I wouldn't be worried.

If you use overlays for videos, you can change the gamma settings to force it to look "real black" in the control panel for your video card. Or, you can at least on nvidia cards.
