met a girl who was working.....
 

so I was at hollywood video gettin some films, and I notice this girl workin there who was attractive. She was working the cash register so I purposely got in her line to talk to her. We made small talk, and were both pretty friendly with each other; she seemed very cool. Problem is, I made no initiative to get her number or anythign like that. I've never been able to pull off asking out someone who is working, so I said goodbye and left. I'd really like to ask her out, but at this point what are my options? How do you approach this type of situation?

Try being bold and ask her for her number. Or maybe something along the lines of "When do you get off? Could I buy you a cup of coffee?" or something along the lines of that.

I mean, what's the worst that could happen? She'll politely turn you down and that'll be that. Better than spending all your money on renting videos you probably don't intend on watching because you've been there so many times that you've practically watched all the movies you wanted to see as an excuse to see her.

But yea.. be bold.

Growing a penis is generally considered the most useful tactic.
