Okay, why the hell was I banned from the AnimeSpot? I didn't even recieve one warning?

So basically you broke rules.

You made a bunch of posts like this one in the Ergo Proxy thread. It's been posted several times that we don't want posts like that in Animespot. However, the rules apparently weren't important enough for you to read. Bigblah got tired of this shit, so you're out for a week.

Sry, it slipped my mind that it was such an important rule. I really would have appreciated a personal warning though.

Seriously though, there isn't much RIVETING DISCUSSION over who dies in <insert anime name> this week that you can't stand 7 days away.

I have read the rules and I especially like this one: First Warning
A moderator will either warn you in a thread or a PM with an explanation of what you did wrong and how to fix it. They will always ask for you to acknowledge the warning so they know it didn't go ignored. If you don't respond to the warning or don't take it seriously an administrator will take away your ability to post until it is done.

This only applies to global bans, though!

Besides, Blah posted a general warning earlier in the thread, so you had been warned (although indirectly). It's only a week man, it's not like you actually discuss something in the EP thread anyway.

The point is that you just fucked up at the wrong time. The thread in particular was full of shit, and even after blah threatened to take action, no one improved, or "acknowledged" that improvement was necessary, so that can basically count as ignoring a warning.

No he wasn't, hence why I said that you just fucked up at the wrong time, and that it could be anyone of they guys who posted in that thread.

B4-Hunter took the warning to heart and improved his posts by including actual content in addition to torrent links. You didn't.

If you want to keep whining about how unfair your ban is because we didn't fill out all the forms you think we needed to and we didn't ban someone else along with you, you can. We can just as easily decide that your contributions won't needed in Animespot anymore.

I was looking for answers, Boss. It's that simple.

I hate those "omg why was my thread closed" threads. I really do. Why don't you send the staff member a private message instead of challenging his actions publically? I think he would be much more cooperative that way.

Seriously, did you even read this thread. I had know idea what the hell was going on. I didn't know I was banned, which means I didn't even know who banned me.

Well yeah I know that, but that's still the same type of thread. Did you contact one of the admins before? I mean, what do you mean 'you don't know who banned you', it must have been one of the admins, apparently, and since half of them are either permanently inactive or wasting money in Yucatan, it's not that hard to figure out who banned you (usually it's the bad guy who posts your name in the GFF Banning Thread (?) )

Well dude I see that this must be all super dramatic for you at the moment, but I don't really get the problem. You want to access AnimeSpot. You cannot access it because obv. you've been banned from it. Okay. Now you know, here's the point: What would I do next? Well? Well, I would try to get in touch with some admin. Because apparently it was an administrator who banned me so chances are he could tell me WHY (=thread title!). But instead you're creating a thread which hasn't been extremely helpful yet.

I know you were trying to help by posting those release infos, but as I can see, Bigblah was stating the rules several times and you just ignored them. Therefore the ban.

This is the support forum if I'm not mistaken. Why even have this board if not for help on your problems?

Help with board issues isn't exactly the same thing as asking around why you were banned from somewhere.
