Strange HD Problem
 

Ok...well about a week ago, my computer just stopped letting me have a 2nd hard disk on the IDE cord that is in there(no i dont have SATA for anything i dont even have it on my mother board). I have tried everything i can think of so i though i would come here. The problem is, the BIOS sees it, the computer sees it, but i have no access to it(through windows anyway)
I have tried it the other way(the hd are currently almost exact clones of each othere via Norton Ghost. They both work fine stand alone, but they dont work in conguction with eachother or any other HD for that matter(USB HDs work fine).
I have not tried formating the 2nd disk yet, I have the oppsion of doing that from Mangement, but i cant do anything else.
I have tried Making the HD Slave and Cable select, uninstalling it, chaning IDE cables, several HDs and all of them are the same, i can see that the drive is there, but i have no access to it. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

The drive i am trying to get to work is Disk 1 in the managment screen it doesnt appear at all on my computer, the other drive(J) is a backup HD of mine

Well, i went ahead and formated, and that worked, so im closing the thread
