Free short DNS?

I'm looking for free short DNS for my fan site. Would be nice if it will be *.net or *.com with short name before it. I could use some of my Polish DNS like xt.pl or go.pl but website is in English and I wasn't it to have international address.

There's stuff like dyndns, no-ip, and those sorts of sites that will give you <site>.dyndns.org and redirect it to whatever IP you want. Not sure if all of them are still free, though. =/

I used no-ip for my FTP (since I have a dynamic IP here) and it worked well.

Well I was even thinking about www.ergo-proxy.eu =D But you have to wait for it whole month... I know no-ip but I'll check them all.
