I don't know about anyone else, but I found Kyd's work in Contracts pretty disappointing. It fit with the grittier nature of the game, but being all dark and moody didn't stand up as well on its own compared to the compelling orchestral stuff he did in Hitman 2. I'm curious to see (or hear) where Blood Money fits in the spectrum.

Personally, I LOVED the brooding score from Contracts (those uninitiated with the previous game should check out this video)...but I can understand why a dark electronica score might not appeal to orchestral music fans. The Blood Money score will appeal to more people though; if you liked the orchestral music of Hitman 2 you should enjoy many of the tracks on BM.

You can download the "Apocalypse" theme from Blood Money right here:

I'm all for electronic music, but I didn't like the Contracts score either. To be fair though, I'm not a fan of most ambient works. However, Silent Assassin had some great tracks, both electronic and orchestral. I hope Blood Money will pique my interest.

I listened to the preview tracks. Didn't notice that eerie vocal track that played in the opening cinematic, as the camera pans from the sky down to the ground in a graveyard. Thought that was gorgeous-sounding. The ripped soundtrack on a site I frequent got 16 tracks and I believe these're all of them.

Still. I really want that opening song ;(
