Is EGM crazy?
 

Look, I know there have been plenty of these and they always end up as nothing more than just speculation, but what's the harm in that? Anyway, EGM has confrimed that there will be an FFVII remake!. Now I find this a bit hard to believe just cause no other "source" has made a blip about this. Also they claim it's gonna be available in 2007!

I have the issue and the little article isn't even in the rumors section! The remake seems somewhat unlikely to happen so soon with all the other projects going on. However, a good chunk of EGM's Wii predictions turned out to be the case, so I just don't know. What's your take on it?

Isn't this old news? I'm pretty sure that SquareEnix has already denied this.

I think it came from the last issue of EGM where they did a rundown of confirmed PS3 titles and threw the FFVII remake in there without any source as if they were hoping it'd be announced at E3 and proved right.

Dang now a days with all these fast internet and all, there a really thin line between rumors and truth >_<
