Halo 3 trailer music

Ok, who thought the music rocked big time in the teaser / trailer of Halo 3? Such a symphonic rise sure does wonders for the opening premise!

I hope the release of the music covers this, its so epic, it makes it look like a movie and not a game!

Anyway, here's hoping more of this comes out :)

edit: re-opened because moderator was argued into the fact that not everyone in the Halo 3 game thread cares about the trailer music.

Yeah bro! Frickin' fantastic music for a frickin' awesome trailer. This makes me want to get an Xbox 360 at some point for this game alone.

Oh and about the music I'm sure Marty & Mike will release it on one of the 4 volumes of Halo 3 albums that will be coming out in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013... So it's sure to be on there in some form huh? :D

I didn't notice it being any better than the previous incarnations of the theme. Somebody want to post an MP3?

Well for one thing it's fully orchestral with chorus. The great 'making of trailer' shows that. That makes it a whole lot better than previous versions IMO.

I especially like the part where we see Master Chief appear in full glory. Such heroic statement is too much for one man to handle.

Agreed. This is the best Halo music to date. Way to go Marty!

That sounds like a Halo arrangement I'll enjoy blasting out on a full sound system.

It also strikes me as very similar to the arrangement played at the Play! concert in Chicago. I think the orchestral feel will work great with the spotless graphics, too.
