I need your opinions plz!

I plan to get a PSP, so I'd like to sell my GameBoy Advance SP. Here is the kit :
- Platinum GameBoy Advance SP (MINT CONDITION)
- EZF Advance 256MO ROM Flash Card (I am not responsible of what you would do with it... :D )
- Metroid Fusion
- Metroid Zero Mission
- Lunar Legend
- EZF Advance Software
- EZF Advance USB Cable
- MadCatz Case

I only have the games cartridges. No manuals, no boxes, etc. Everything is MINT, and 100% functionnal.

So what I'd like to know, is how much I can get by selling this lil' kit! I wanna get rid of that SP 'cuz I'm looking for a PSP.

I wanna put the kit on eBay so... I don't know how I should ask for it. So please help me!

Thanks to y'all guyz

With the EZFlash stuff included, you should get at least $200 US for it. But you might want to sell them all seperately, could collect more.

Hector May 30, 2006 02:31 AM

Really?

You think that if I put it on eBay with a Buy It Now of 200 bucks, someone could want it... for real??

RABicle May 30, 2006 02:41 AM

Well I strongly advise to split the EZflash from tha GBA SP. Selling a GBA plus a few games is the whole "Father looking to save a few bucks buying Gameboy for son" deal. They wont want a mysterious piracy device. But selling one of them by itself opens it up to the existing GBA owenrs who want to get a abck cataloge of ROMS, these guys already have GBA's and dont want another one.

EDIT: You may even want to seperate the games too. I know personally I am slightly intrested in the games but I already have an EZFlash and several GBAs.

I'm interested on the EZFlash, myself, but I lack the money to buy it right now.

Oh well.

Thanks to the advice you guys!!

You come to a Mario board to say you want to get rid of all that and buy PSP.

Wow.

Newbie1234 May 30, 2006 02:00 PM

Used GBA SP: ~$70 min.
3 games: ~$45 min.
EZ Flash: ~$50 min.
Case: $5

I'd try to get at least $170 out of it.

Cool! I was looking for that kind of infos too. Thanks a lot to ya!

SPs are 70$ NEW. A used one is more like 40, probably.

Hmm, you're probably right, because I know for $100 USD you can buy a GBA SP with Zelda. Still, if you sell the GBA SP with the 3 games in 1 package, you might be able to score $100 USD. It all depends on the buyer.

I hate it when people claim they have mint condition items when they don't even have the entire packaging. That's not mint, that's loose! Regardless of the condition of the carts themselves, they are in loose condition.

I'm not sure if you can fetch more for the games indivdually, otherwise sell the system and games together and then the rom stuff seperatly.

FatsDomino Jun 3, 2006 01:31 AM

I'll give you ten bucks for all of that on the condition that you also never post at GFF again. Fair deal?

Elixir Jun 3, 2006 01:53 AM

How is everything "mint" if you don't have the boxes, manuals and box inserts for the GBA games?

Infernal Monkey Jun 3, 2006 01:57 AM

Maybe he's replaced the boxes with Minties wrappers.

Wow.

He could sell it for a DS. We'd actually respect that. His thread title also blows.

Support for the first quote. Acer pays 10 for the items and I'll pay for his "condition."

3 days late on that response.

FatsDomino Jun 3, 2006 02:45 AM

Oh I see what you did there. I "pay" for "merchandise" and then you go out and "kill him". Is this how the mafia works?

You want his wallet? I just want the satisfaction.

Putting "pay" in quotes makes me think you're offering him some cheap sex. Are you offering people cheap sex?

~because if you do, I'll give you 10 bucks for a night

Miles Jun 4, 2006 04:58 AM

I say sell all of it, but keep the Metroid games. Save those for play on a DS if you ever get one, which you should.

Also, thread closed to prevent further bashing.
