Linksys BEFW1154 Installation
 

My friend lost his CD and is unable to find any installation downloadable on the internet. Is downloadable possible (he isn't searching hard enough) or does he have to call them for replacement?

Are you sure your friend didn't mean BEFW11S4?
If I'm right, you can download the online manual and firmware at their website. Keep in mind you need to know which version your friend has (ie V2.0, V3.2, V4.0; you can usually find this info underneath the router.)

the linksys website also has a live chat option where you can ask if they offer a downloadable driver set for the device. They can pull some drivers from a ftp site the main page doesn't link directly to.
