Monitor Calibration help
I do a lot of work in photoshop so I tried to calibrate it myself using the adobe gamma option in the control panel. The first time I tried this the midtones ended up having this awkward metallic tint to it. The second time seemed to work fine but when I watch something dark like Ergo Proxy it's hard to decipher if I'm watching anything at all since it's way too dark.
So, is there a way to correctly calibrate a monitor? Thank you. |
LaCie makes a hardware assisted calibration device one called blue eye.

I follow this guide, and it works pretty well. At least now my picture is print 98% close to what it's up on the screen. :)
