The truth behind dubbed Naruto
http://www.hongfire.com/cg/showphoto...o/35957/cat/25
Not sure if anyone has seen it... but either way... still a pos. |
This is more truth than funny. Believe it!
|
OOOK....
That was random. |
Hell yes, I BELIEVE! Naruto's lines has to be one of the worst pieces of dialogue ever heard.
|
Good thing I haven't even seen a dubbed episode.
|
Damn, that is good.
|
Does he really say believe it that much in the dubbed versions?

You better believe it. |
I think my hatred for the complete lack of accuracy in english voice casting annoys me far greater then the repeated catch phrase of "believe it". Although it does get under my skin rather quickly. Good thing I usually don't watch the dubs.
|
Hahahahahah, good one SemperFidelis, guess I did have that one coming >_<
|
I guess it's just like how Kenshin says "that it is" in that anime's English dub about 20,000 times.
|
I don't think Naruto has said believe it in at least 15 episodes. All you people need to get a life if you think it's more annoying than datebayo or whatever that shit is, that doesn't even mean anything and it's added 50,000 times.

Nice find Para! I've only seen clips of the Naruto dub, but i know exactly how much he says 'believe it!' just from them -.- |
If you think the anime is annoying, play the game..
This wasn't funny btw |
Thank god I modded my GC to go straight to the 3rd Naruto Fighter.
|
"Believe it" isn't half as annoying as "Dattebayo."
|
I never saw a dubbed episode in its entirety. I came close and saw about 5 minutes of it while channel surfing. I think the same can be applied to all animes where some character repeats a saying over and over, like "no da" from Chichiri (sp?) in Fushigi Yuugi.

Gah, such a shame. |

Fags replace words or names intentionally to think they're funny. "Hey guys, lets insert stupid messages in the opening and we'll wank to it in amazement of our greatness." Fags. Manga > Sub > DB Sub = English Dub = Game = Pile of shit |
Heh, that's not THAT funny, but there's some truth to it.
http://www.anime-editz.net/naruto_editz_index.php I found this site after I had watched the first 170 episodes or so (yeah, I even watch the fillers) but hadn't watched a single minute of the English dub. After I downloaded the first clip of an English dub I nearly shit my pants. And as I downloaded more, it just got worse. I was expecting lame voice acting and editing for blood. However, I wasn't expecting mispronunciations, mistranslations and an annoying catch phrase that wasn't in the original Japanese dialogue. They somehow pronounce Naruto in two syllables; "Naaaru-to" instead of the normal three syllabled "Na-ru-to" like it's supposed to be. That really annoys the fuck out of me. In one of the dubs, Kakashi says "Naaaru-to, that was cool and all..." What the fuck? Since when did Kakashi start saying retarted shit like that? Since Naruto was dubbed into English for Cartoon Network apparently. And, uh, I never noticed any repeated "dattebayo" when I watched the subs. So it's certainly a hell of a lot more subtle than bluntly saying "Believe it" all the time. When I came back from college, my little brother had recorded some English Naruto episodes onto our satellite receiver and every time he starts to play one I want to hang myself from the nearest tree. |

dubbed Anime always sucks major ass, and dont get me started on dubbed hentai..
I say watch with subs or learn japanese.. oh and u can always not watch Naaaaru-to... Which i think is pronounced "Nuh-ru-taw".. iirc.. |
This is probably incredibly inappropriate to point this out, but this "Chewdick academy" and the "69" headbands are from one of the most ridiculously awful Naruto yaoi mangas ever written by someone who has to be no older than 15, or at least has the art skills of someone that age.
*shudder* |
Funny. Really pisses me off that he does say it that much... Does Shikamaru even SAY "how troublesome..." anymore in the dubbed version?
