xp stuck in classic style
Yeah, for some reason, WMP crashed my explorer, it restarts, and REFUSES to revert back to XP style. I also have StyleXP installed, and applying skins are doing any good. Does anyone know what to do?

Uninstalled SkinXP.

Just use Neowin's UXTheme Multi-Patcher instead.

You might want to head to the control panel, administrative tools, services. Disable the service for theme but first set XP for classic, reboot and enable it and see if it'll help. By the looks of things you might also want to enable cleartype...

What would enabling cleartype have to do with anything.

Uhh... try starting the Themes service. Run services.msc and find the Themes service. Double click on it, change its startup type to automatic and then click start. (This is assuming it's not already started.)

I know it won't console you, but I think your PC's doing you a favour.
But I think StyleXP is your problem there so uninstall that and like said before, find the Neowin patch. |

Yeah, so.
On CRTs it looks like shit, OK. And if he has a CRT, he doesn't need it. |
