Microsoft Word - Spell Check doesnt work...?
 

I purposely spell things wrong... and spell check catches nothing. I have NO idea why this happens, and no clue how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Might you be misspelling one word only to type another?

Believe me... I've typed asdsdijksdl and sailide and pwerodieoswitz... you get the idea.

Press F7 once. If you see the following, you'll need to get your Office disc back out and install proofing tools.

Also, in the options menu, there's a spelling and grammar section, but it'll be grayed out if the proofing tools aren't installed.

When I press F7, it just say "spelling and grammar check complete", and everything seems to be turned on... and not gray in the Options for Proofing Tools. Thanks for the reply.

Under Word, click Help, and try to repair your Office Installation. (I'm assuming you're using XP/2003).

What are the settings under Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options? Can I assume you have it set to English (United States)?
