Lets Draw ! Girls and Cars.
 

Actually, not just cars, motorcycle, moped, or any other vehicle will do. It is encouraged that the character interact with the vehicle a bit, be it operating/driving, fixing, cleaning, etc. It makes the composition more interesting then just have somebody stand there and look pretty. Using reference is also encouraged, particularly when it comes to drawing vehicles. Let’s have some fun.

This is a free for all themed draw thread, so just jump in. There is no need to sign up.

Same rules apply? About 40 minutes for a sketch?

You can spend as much time as you want, or as little as you want...but I am pretty sure that it is probably pointless to only put three mintues on stuff like this, and you dont' have to complete the thing all at once.

You guys don't draw as often as you should.

Oh I've been drawing quite a bit in the past few days, the drawings are mostly focused on school work.


...Why does she have a present on her head?

She is someone I design for the event, GFF: the unstoppable. GFF when read out loud sounds like gif(t), so she is GFFchan. Also, her real name is Pandora, and that thing that stuck on her head is her box.

Meh... Not really happy with the way this came out and I don't really feel much like finishing it anymore. But um. I'll post it anyway so I can say I participated :p. I'll try again once finals are over.

Women are hard to draw for me ; ;. And I apologize for the lack of vehicle. Ran out of space.

About an hour and 38 minutes for the lines (ballpoint on bristol board) and 38 minutes for the tone (painter).

Very nice, but I think Bristol board is kinda overkill. >.> I mean, something quick and easy would be okay. The point is to get people drawing stuff.

I'll have to say, that's one fine looking mopad, maybe you can try to go for the whole thing next time? The trick is to draw the mopad first and then fit the character on to it, but you'll need to pencil this. :D

Why is she look so down and out?

I decided to finish it but I won't have access to a scanner until Wednesday maybe...
I've had this pack of Brisol lying around for awhile. I use them as sort of a sketch book now cause if I didn't, I wouldn't use it at all. They weren't that expensive either so..
Um, that's pretty much how I draw all my characters (note the sig and avatar). I'm not exactly good at drawing emotions beyond sad or indifferent :p.
I actually did start out with a blue lead pencil but I drew the bike too big and the page was only 9x12.

I never know and might never will know how to draw vehicles..
so instead, I tried to make one myself, but it end up being a tank O.o''

Roughly drawn in 15min and add stuff on photoshop. I know the vehicle looks weird..I tried. >.<''

I can't believe I forgot to comment on your art thread Clon. I've been meaning to tell you that you have mad style. It's amazing how much detail you got in only 15 minutes.

I have to agree with you on the weird part. The rest is fine, it's just the handle that gets to me. Reminds me too much of those reflective things you see when there's construction on the road.

With that being said, you both motivate and discourage my will to improve ( ;-;).

Dunno whether mine would fit the description, since it's a plane.

about 15 minutes, of which 13minutes are for the plane. the gal.. well.. didn't rly spent much effort on her.
