Ringtones - PC to Phone
Okay, so I got a sweet ringtone I want to use, but I've hit a problem: How do I get it to my phone? I have a Motorola Razr v3, for the record. Now, here's my situation:
I have no cables to use. I have no bluetooth support on my computer. I made the audio file, so I didn't have a site which would allow me to download directly. My question is: Is there a site that will send a multimedia message to my phone containing the sound file I want? (Since that's how ring tones get to you if you download them ON the phone.) Or, does anyone know of any other way available to me to get the sound file to my phone? |
Someone once recommended this site to me, but I've never used it myself.
http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ri...adRingtone.php I purchased a Motorola phone last year from Europe, and it came with software and a cable that lets users upload media files from the computer to the phone, so I tend to use that. |
Awesome, it worked. (Although it took forever to put the address into my phone and I think it cost me a little money...oh well.) Thanks, Rydia!

Any suggestion for those WITH a cable?
I've got a LG phone and the data cable, but the only software I know of is "FutureDial Suite" which I hear sucks, but is the only thing out there. I'd rather not pay. :\ |
Yeah....I'm in the same boat as Lukage...I've got a cable, seen some programs that will transfer (Motorola v262), but i'd rather not pay over $30 to get the software that lets me transfer whatever audio files i desire....any help?

I just got BitPim for my phone the other day, and it works pretty well. I can't download pictures from my phone (doh ;_; ), but I can put on ringtones and manage my address book without a problem.
Be sure to also download the proper drivers for your phone from the manufacturer's website (I know LG has them since that's what I have). |
