Xmen Resources

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good online resources for X-men character profiles and such.

Here are two I've stumbled upon.
Xmen Character Profiles
Mutant High

Although the site does a failry good job updating, I was looking for more resources just to get a more comprehensive background on certain characters.

Wikipedia

Seriously.

On a sidenote, all those stupid numbers after character's names really bother me. I think it makes keeping track of who's who way more confusing.

http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/ is another good one, even if the layout can be a little confusing.

Well yeah, for serious research Wikipedia is a pretty bad choice. For finding out Dazzler's origin, it's perfectly fine.

Never underestimate the self policing of comic fans when it comes to knowing trivial shit.

I found someone on Wiki say that Futurama's Zap Branigan is based off of Magnus: Robot Fighter.

Come on, man.

Have you actually ever checked out the comic book info? It's pretty accurate.

My uni doesn't allow the stupid asses to cite wikipedia as a source, which is fine by me, since I agree. On the other hand, just like acid said, most real comic fans are pretty anal about stuff like that, any would want to screw anything up. I've found what I've mostly read on wiki about comic characters and story arcs to coincide with what I've read.
