Twisted Metal-Like Game
 

Are there any games for pc that's like twisted metal? Open to any suggestions. Thanks in advanced!

Ok, Domino, nice referal to GameSpot instead of a real answer, pretty useless, how are NFS 3 or 4 like TM at all? TM is an arena based vehicle combat game, those are arcade style racing games. The only similarity is the car :P I have no idea about the other games however.

The game I'd suggest would be Motor Mayhem, I thoroughly enjoyed that game, and it's the best thing since TM.

Thanks for the suggestions, there is a Motor Mayhem for PC? I tried to look for some info on it but could only find PS2 versions. Hopefully I'm wrong, the game looks good.

Some UT2K4 mods might also have similarities to Twisted Metal. I haven't checked them in a long time though and they might not be all that populated with players anymore.

Games like Vigilante 8, Redline (i feel) [not street legal racing : redline] are pretty similar, if u dont mind the GFX there was a good one called "Interstate 76" or something similar..

As for these days there's a pretty similar game out for PC called "Crashday" .. i think its the closest to the concept.. Check it out..

Roadkill Warriors is UT04 PC mod like twisted metal game. It's more along the lines of Mad Max. But it has cars that have guns mounted on em..and they blow up. Plus it's pretty cool. This is their last FREE update before the official RoadKill Warriors is out in stores. I have the old original beta for a long time and this one definatly improves but the bots are still dumb as hell. I recommend it for a lan game but it's fun to drive around and kill the dumb bots but it gets old when they run in circles. Anyway here is the link..

Is this game an online game only?

No, you can play it with bots offline.

Interstate 76 and 82 are pretty close to twisted metal style gameplay, but I've never had a chance to try it to see exactly how good or bad it is.

As said, Crashday. The illegal version plays on-line too.

I assure you that there is nothing like Twisted Metal.

You can also try FlatOut. You don't shot missiles and stuff, but it's an awesome "destroy your opponent" game. The collisions are pretty damn good, and its a very fun game. I usually play it with friends in a lan. It's the best you can get (along with Toca Race Driver 3).

Mega race classic and fun. Its more of a need for speedd hot pursute like game though.
