Changing the background of Microsoft Word
 

Is there a way to hack the background of Microsoft Word so you don't have to stare at a white or blue screen for 90 hours while you type a paper.

I mean, I would probably be in a more productive mood if I had somethin' to look at.

If you go to Format->Background->Fill Effects and choose the "Picture" tab, you should be able to do something like that. Be wary of the possibility that the image might stretch, of course. (Either that or you'll only see part of it; I'm not sure which it is.)
