I didn't want to wait to make this thread, but as most of you know, Animenorth is coming up in exactly one month and two days (from right now), yay!
Primetime for a GFF meet too for those who are interested in trekking all the way to Toronto ;)
Anyone have their hotel spots reserved? I heard the Radisson and the Doubletree are fully booked (well, it is a month away)
Any plans for spectacular cosplay showing off?

What. There is a popular anime con in Canada? Wow. I will avoid it like the plague. Cosplayers are scary.

Meanwhile, here in Montreal we have the Fantasia film festival. I'll hopefully get to check out more of it this year. Last year I saw the worst drama ever. Zee Oui - wow, I laughed through the entire film. It was the best "comedy" I've ever seen.

Someone should make the convention thread again. we had a pretty big one, pre-crash (or whatever happened).

i'd like to go to Anime North, but it's too close to Anime Expo and Otakon. having trouble saving up to go to these as it is.

I'm going to Anime North, this year seems to be awesome though. We have a few really great guests, I can't wait to hear and see Kotoko sing :D.

Also, I might be cosplaying as some BF2 players, ya, not really anime at all, but my friend is really really insisting that I do. Not sure yet though........
