Can you believe somebody made a 3 MB 699x9999 image full of stuff like that in MS Paint?

Maybe it's because you're trying to make a 3mb 699x9999 image your signature.

And now it's back in this thread, but not in threads I posted in before I uploaded the sig. It seems that it's not applying the changes to all posts... but it is for the avatar. Odd.

Make it a Jpeg/PNG/GIF at 550x300 max with a 50-100KB filesize. My current sig is a 83.5KB PNG (with 500x166 resolution) and displays just fine. BTW I think the restrictions of the old GFF are gone, I wouldn't have been able to use a 83.5KB png back then.

Oh, ok. It doesn't appear in those old posts, because you didn't have "show your signature in message" checked off when you posted. I think you can just go back and click them, if you feel the need to.

No, GFF didn't have a script to restrict signature filesize. Offending signatures were removed manually.

I don't know if we're going to review the signature rules, but at this point of time you should follow the 50kb limit.
