Program that logs software installations

I need a program that will tell me every file that is written or modified during a software installation. Do they even exist.

Run this program while installing the program. Filter out all other programs and see what files the installer modifies/accesses/creates during installation.
To see what is done to the Windows Registry, use this util, it helped me break a trial period on a program before:)
