E3 2015
Welp folks, tis be that time of year again. As always, getting the jump on this a month early for all talks of new games coming out soon, cancelled by big mean companies, wants and "lol srsly" moments for and from E3.
A few choice trailers to start it off with.
Looking forward to seeing: Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Fantasy XV (maybe) MOAR BATTLEFRONT Persona 5 Bethesda E3 panel (Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls 6!!) and so this begins a new year's thread for the Triple E! |

At this point I would be surprised if Battlefront isn't complete dogshit. Everything about it is squandered opportunity. And lol at being excited for a Metal Gear or Final Fantasy game in TYOOL 2015.
I need more details on the Mario Kart DLC stuff and and whatever Nintendo is doing. Give me a Xenoblade X date and I will leave satisfied. |
hahaha video games
(By which I mean lol E3 in the year of our Lord fucking any year) Where's my Bunny Must Die sequel, E3? |
Square already said a couple days ago that they wouldn't have anything from FF XV to show for E3. They're waiting until some other game show later in the year. I mean, they already killed off any hope of it being worth getting outside of the deep discount bin over the past year, so it's not like it matters much.
I'd like to see some Nintendo release dates (sup Xenoblade X) and Atlus info (Persona 5 and FExSMT), but that's about all I can think of right now. |
I'm sure we'll see a lot of nonsense around the huge tent-pole games you expect (CoD, Metal Gear, etc.) but I'm far more interested to see what Nintendo has to say for itself. Their E3 showing last year was great so I'm not sure exactly how well they'll hold up against that, but Ninty have been rolling out the games I've been super excited about. So yeah, let's get a Xenoblade X date, more info on Star Fox, and whatever wonderful stuff they have up their sleeve for the 3DS (a date for new Fire Emblem would be nice).

I want Battlefront to be good, but EA & Origin will ruin everything they touch. SIGH.
Interesting to see Bethesda this year, FO4 gon be gud. |
What I'm hoping to see:
- Star freakin Fox - Plans for more Mario Kart 8 DLC (tracks I mean) - More Chrono songs coming to Curtain Call / Chrono Theatrhythm - Kingdom Hearts 3 (gameplay progress, possibly a release date) - Upcoming Smash Bros Characters - Unified Nintendo Network accounts - Super Mario Galaxy 3 - The new Ace Attorney - A new Mario Sports game of sorts coming to WiiU - Hopefully Sonic is taking a break this year after two shitty games so Sega can take some time to reflect and make a decent one...hell, Sonic Generations 2 would be welcomed - Street Fighter V release date - Megaman games finally releasing on Steam - Metal Gear 1, 2, Solid 1-4 finally releasing on Steam - Castlevania 1-4, X, and SotN finally releasing on Steam - Ace Attorney Trilogy HD finally releasing on Steam |
I haven't kept up with anything Final Fantasy XV related for a while. It's something I was looking forward to see new information, but wasn't really sold on the game. I might try it out for the sake of it, but meh.
Meanwhile, Dragon Quest is getting more attention from me:
plus small rumors that Dragon Quest XI will be announced, so I'll be a happy camper if it is announced and it isn't some MMO like X was. |

Looks like we'll be seeing a new Assassin's Creed at E3
Hopefully it won't be released as buggy as the last one was. |

A new Assassin's Creed?! Impossible. It's almost like it's a yearly franchise they vomit into existence these days.

Look, I just want new info (hopefully gameplay) of Cyberpunk 2077 ok.
By E3 Witcher 3 will be out so YOU KNOW IT'S HIGH TIME EDIT: son of a bitch welp guess it's up to nintendo to provide something not underwhelming like the rest http://www.gamepressure.com/e.asp?ID=51 Weren’t you too quick to announce Cyberpunk? Or was it rather a necessary stunt to show your stockholders that CD Projekt Red has a bigger portfolio? Not entirely. Obviously, it’s important to come up with plans and execute them. In that way, we wanted to present a certain vision of ourselves. Such a thing is very important for a company like ours – a company that is both a developer and a publisher. The moment we announced Cyberpunk, we certainly got busy with it. Later on, it turned out that we needed help in completing The Witcher 3. We have put a large part of the team to work on finishing the game. Once it’s released, we’ll be able to focus on Cyberpunk. After all, we haven’t announce its release date so no one can complain. Will we get to see Cyberpunk at E3? This year will belong to The Witcher. |

Mega Man Legacy Collection remasters first six games this.summer | Polygon |
Microsoft firing first with Backwards Compatible announcement for XBONE. Their conference was a bit better this year than the past couple of years. Hopefully Sony can counter it later tonight.
The hype is real:
