MySpace crashing my Internet Browser
 

For some really gay reason some pages on MySpace that have music videos on them cause my internet browser to crash. Can anyone help me out with this?

Use "No Style" while browsing myspace. Save yourself years of loading time.

Does this video/URL always crash the browser you're using? Also let us know which browser this is.

Does it also happen with a few other select videos/URLs? Also, check if your crss.exe (assuming Windows...) process suddenly spikes up in CPU usage before this crash occurs.

I use Firefox. But I have tried it on numerous other browsers including IE and it still crashes. And It only does this on pages that have music videos. Everything else is fine.

Then it's a problem with your video plugin. Re-install windows media player and see if that does anything for you. Alternatively, you can just try adblocking the stupid scripts that allow movies to play on myspace.

Euphemism for stupid. People should really not get so offended by this.

I dont see why people have to have all those extra shit on it for a mostly dialup person like me has to wait to load.
