Hi Guys,

check out this new flash game,
its still in alpha, but man what a crazy alpha!!!

its basically a platformer with a twist, you play in a world, when you reach the
edges you actually build and extend the world, other players play your creations and you earn stuff if they like it and what not.
the level editor is out of this world :D

Ah well, if it had been posted here in the first place (and less "oooh, my game is pretty good") critique of my harsh response would have been in order (no matter whether it'd be by the same guy or sb else)

But registering in a board just to plug your own game without caring for anything else there, carefully avoiding the designated subforums? Seems not a very good way to do things to me.

Xyzz - true, maybe its a bit blunt to go on a forum and go "LOOK AT MAH CRAZY GAME"
But as long as its not some automated bot and actually a developer promoting their game I don't see any problem. Assuming he/she is ready and willing to accept feedback via that forum and not just cum'n'go.

I think the biggest part of such resent comes from hate towards automated advertising by douche bags.

Adorable backseat modding aside, the real problem with using GFF as a marketing platform is that maybe 10 actual people will see this thread. In terms of effort to reward you're better off standing on an overpass and yelling.

They might not be the same people but they have the same end goal which is to promote their game I guess. It's not hard to trace two similar IP addresses to Israel, fellas. A quick whois will turn up that belowkryll.com originates from Israel as well. I don't mind devs promoting games but please don't disguise yourselves otherwise members here will think you're being disingenuous.

It's a game where players create the world. The creators of well liked areas are rewarded with fame, and the power to create more areas.
