Hooking up speaker systems
Hi there,
just wanted to have an answer to this problem i'm facing. i purchased a 6.1 from creative but then i upgraded to a 7.1 system also from creative...the inspire brand not the cambridge soundworks. now i'm using my 7.1 system but i really would like to connect the 6 speakers and the subwoofer from the 6.1 too. i was wondering if anyone could help me i wanted to know what i would need to use to connect both systems. thanks for your time everyone. |
.........No.
Just....plain......No. In addition to the fact that it's quite likely impossible, there's no reason to do it whatsoever. |
I'm guessing that you could hook both speaker sets up by using a bunch of headphone Y-splitters to double all the output jacks on your sound card, but there's no reason to. It's not like you can get 13.2 surround sound, and, stacked Advents aside, you're not going to get any sound quality benefits from running two almost-identical speaker systems. ._.
note to self: build 7.0 system out of an army of Advent speakers. |
I really wasn't expecting a 13.2 surround system and neither better sound quality...i really just wanted to know if it was possible to connect both speakers....i still think it's kinda stupid not being able to do it though.
thx anyways guys |
