Deleted/moved post/thread

Is it possible to have a system where when a mod moves/deletes a post, the creator of it is messaged? Like a PM system or something. It sucks having to search through a thread, only to realize that your post was deleted or something.

They used to have this.

Then it was lost in a crash, I believe.

I know for certain it fires off a PM if your thread is moved. vBulletin sets it up even where the PM came from the person who moved it.

If your post disappears, it probably disappears for good reason that hopefully would be obvious. If you have any questions, feel free to PM any of the mods. I don't believe any of us outright delete posts, so we can see what was there.

For the uninformed, we have a system where (under normal circumstances) moderators can still see deleted posts.

There's no "regular" moderators, so technically, everyone mods everything.

We're working on it.

This is unnecessary. It's not a tragedy if you don't know where you thread was moved because you can access your threads quite easily if you click the link in your profile. I really don't know what the big motherfreakin problem is.

Actually we do have somewhat designated forums. For example, I do Political, Kitchen, Sony, and Computing (though with BM back I'm slacking off there). Most other mods have a few forums they tend to keep a watch over more than the others.
