You clearly never played any games on a Spectrum. Pop the tape in, type Load, hit Enter, press play, go out and play football for half an hour, come back in, find out it crashed during loading, reset the computer, rewind the tape, type Load, hit Enter etc etc etc etc. Kids these days don't know they're born.

Haha oh wow, I don't even know what a Spectrum is. I'm actually 9 years old! My first recollection of playing games was on an Atari VCS and then eventually a Famicom.

(I just wikied the Spectrum and proved to myself that Shin is really old.)

But the VCS was released 5 years before the Spectrum =/

I guess the Spectrum didn't reach the Philippine islands :( and the Atari wasn't mine, it was my friend's and they own a sewing machine factory, so he's filthy rich. I just made friends with him so that I can play with his Atari.

...I feel more in control with a D-pad and two buttons than I do with a D-pad, two analogue sticks, close to a dozen buttons and force feedback.

I'd rather have a nice selection of genres than a dominant fps/action market.

...The music to the older games were far superior than modern days ambient-oriented soundtracks. So much good music produced to the old pc and console games, it's sad how it looks on the todays market imo.

Dedicated run buttons.

I'm sick of every game having a damn tutorial level that I'm forced to deal with.
