Too Human
EGM BLOW OUT(May issue)
http://www.qj.net/Too-Human-EGM-Scans/pg/49/aid/17863 A short clip showing in game animation. http://rmjv.net/vi/too1304.MP4 New screens. http://www.playerone.be/galleries/ga...o10.jpg&page=1 Some Facts: Made by SiliconKnights , developers of Legacy of kain:BloodOmen , SoulReaver , Eternal Darkness and Twin Snakes. Too Human uses UnrealEngine3 and its a trilogy , with first Part coming by the end of 2006. Game theme is , NorseMythology + Cyberpunk. First game SK was making , but delayed uptill now. I love SK games , they are the best story tellers and script writers ,even surpassing MGS. Ofcourse gamers who have played their games know that. Someone said on other forums EGM says that this game will revoluzionize gaming. Literally. That it will change videogaming forever. Too Human is like a prequel to Norse mythology. The story of the game is like what the Norse people used to create their old religion. Loki and Thor were in fact cybernetic creatures who fought against the God Of Light, Baldur, the main character. They also say that the combat system is so deep it'd take a whole life to master. The developpers want to make sure that the players will have to change their strategy every time and not always use one combo. Also expect a huge numbers of bosses with Zelda/Metroid like fights. |
I remember this game when it was shown on the PSone. You played a futuristic cop who was upgrading his body with cyborg parts. He had a mustache. O_o

This looks like some totally generic game with a generic sci-fi theme. Totally unimpressive except for eye candy (which is basically all the Xbox 360 is good for, currently).
Bring on some true fun "games" already. |

countless Acecombat sequels with refurbished graphics and game structure? There are people on other forums who sem to hate AC like hell, but you dig it like no tommorow...moral of story is ...its totally relative. |
I saw this yesterday on IGN; it looks good to me but isn't very high up on my list.
I do think the story line could be flasehed out into a very yarn. |
I think it looks pretty good, considering SK's track record, it should be awesome. What I wouldnt give for a new Legacy of Kain game more in the vain of the original for next gen.

SiliconKnights made the first Soulreaver, and so i mentioned. Boot up the cd and check yourself.:p |
Personally, when I get stuff wrong, and trust me, it happens quite often, I don't mind when people correct me.
But after Blood Omen came out, which was developped by Knights and published by Crystal Dynamics, the rest of the series rested in the hands of Dynamics, with Amy Henning at the helm of every future games in the series. Right now, most of the team, including Henning left the company so it's kinda scary what will happen with the Kain series. |
Well, seeing as what they did to differentiate Eternal Darkness from the horror genre, I'm positive they'll be able to do the same for Too Human.
But IMO it's still to early too call. |

Yeah when you boot up the CD it credits Silicon Knights for Blood Omen, not Soul Reaver. This game does look impressive, though I just hope they can deliver what they say. Quote:

I just saw the game on G4's E3 Live thing.
For a game in development for 12 years, it looked a smidge boring. And I can't believe that Morgan Webb didn't even say anything when the game kept freezing up on her. I know it's still in development, but come on now. I don't understand what Dyack was talking about when he said the game would change industry methodology though. Through the camera work? Uh...okay? |
