Windows font failure
2 Attachment(s)
So, there are two screenshots... one shows how AIM messes up the font... and the other is a full screenshot which shows the winamp dialog box covering everything. I don't know what I've done but it's hell... does anyone know how to fix it?

Just set the font-size normal in the properties of your display (right click on your desktop -> properties).

It's not that (although it got my hopes up). It's not on the task bars that the font is big. It's in various dialog boxes, AIM and Winamp to be specific. It's on in Firefox or Google talk preferences since they use a different style. It happened after I was playing around with my fonts, adding and deleting some.... but, they were all fonts that had previously worked.

There's many fonts that are used in a single style at a time. Checked them all out? It is most probably related to the "Dialogs" subsection. Go to your Screen properties and then choose the 'Appearance' tab. There, choose "advanced options" and search for the problem there, it should fix it.

That sounds good... but :( how do I check them all out? Is it the font size? and where would I change that, etc. ?

Go where I told you. Right-click on your desktop and choose 'Properties'. then go to the Appearance tab and click on Advanced Options. There's a dropdown menu with many different choices, each of which is a different part of the visual style. Check them out and see if they are set to outrageous font sizes (32+) and change them back to a normal setting (around 8).
