Retro City Rampage
Brian Provinciano's upcoming WiiWare title mixes GTA on NES with a million references to old games and movies.
It all just looks so wonderfully crisp 8-bit, or you can get it for the music alone.

Game looks lovely: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/pa...ro-city/704150 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/pa...ro-city/704148 |
It certainly has potential. I don't buy a lot of Wiiware, but this does look good.

I'm already mad at TMNT again for that level.

The gameplay actually looks like it might hold up as well. If so, this will be the first Wiiware game I actually buy.

Why the fuck is the ninja turtle water level in this game? Game looks cool. I have to say the retro wave that sparked after Megaman 9 has been supremely refreshing.

This guy has been working on this since like 2004 or something, I think it was originally just a straight-up 8-bit GTA game and just sort spiraled out from there.
