Sorry for the newb questionbut how do i play this files. I downloaded one from the concert hall and it says it's playing but it doesn't show anything. I sue the bs player to play this file. ON another note i played the file in windows media player, and it only played the sound

Strange. I think you should be able to play .asf files just fine in Windows Media Player, as well as BS Player. You could download and run the file through this program, it will tell you if you have any compatible video/audio codecs installed.

I already have that program and it says i don't. But when i got to bs player prefreence and file types it shows that i could play asf. I have the k-lite codec pack

ASF is a streaming format created by Microsoft. Chances are the one you got IS audio only, which is why you see no video. There are versions that are video and audio, but likely what you got is audio only.
