Hahahahahahaha, I forgot about that word filter. I really do have all the best ideas.

The reason is that they have refused me access to my personal account details and have refused multiple times to remove my personal details from their system, and have now started to use these details against me too, by signing me up for various things, and harassing me. I have been trying for 2 years now to get GF to just close my account or remove my details or my account User CP block, but the admins have ignored it.

I have contacted a few people involved with the Data Protection Act in the UK and US and they inform me this is quite a serious violation of these rules, so have now begun the process with the Internet Crime Bureau to have this insane headache ended. I cannot believe a site like this will use my information against me for 2 years now.

So after 2 years of emails, webforms, private messages, all very politely requesting that my details be removed or account be closed, I have now had no choice but to see what other options I have. I wouldn't give a toss if their admins weren't sending emails to my personal address with abuse and pornographic material, and also telling me about the stuff they have used my details for, which then comes to light later being true.

This is effectively identity theft, and I have now had to take it further, which saddens me as I used to love this forum.

How are you certain that it is someone from this site?

The case has grown over 2 years, and it is a few of the admins, you can even tell by their responses here that they simply dont care that someone has been getting harassment from one of their own.

I really dont care for their responses anymore, its now costing me money to have this whole thing investigated and the process is slowly moving forwards, I just wish they would stop being such a bunch of assholes and just do what I very nicely asked 2 years ago :(

The UK has no Internet Crime Bureau I'm afraid buddy. Internet crime is handled by SOCO, the Serious Organised Crime Office, with lesser stuff covered only by OFCOM. I mean, if you're going to make silly threats about the law, at least get your facts straght first.

And this whole thing went way past making threats a long time ago, 2 years of constant grief to myself and others too regarding such a stupid thing, based on one stupid comment I made back when I was having a moan about final fantasy, and now I get emails and abuse all the time, day in day out from these people who have taken my information.

I do not live in the UK. They are dealing with it, however in the mean time, tell me for arguments sake, how would someone go about closing their account for this site? As the last 100+ times I have asked any admin, they do not respond or send me more PM spam.
