Anime bumps, or what?
As I've posted in my journal, there's this video on Google Video that has all of these rube goldberg machines that make signs, magnets, and such that have the same Japanese phrase on it. To me it looks like the bumps in and out of an anime series or something, but does anyone here have any idea as to what all of these are promoting? I want to know what someone went to this ridiculous amount of effort for.

Ah, I've figured it out.
Pitagora suicchi is actually the japanese way of saying "Pythagorean Switch," which, for some strange reason, is the equivalent of our term "Rube Goldberg Machine." Apparently it leads into some sort of children's show of the same name here: http://www.nhk.or.jp/youho/pitagora.html Another link: http://www.officek.jp/skyg/wn/doc/pitagoraswitch.shtml I have too much free time |
A fake Bleach episode was released with the anime's normal opening, and then it showed those Rube videos. I had to do a project for physics similar to those machines, so it was still interesting to watch.

Yeah it was a You Have Been Tricked, and I sat there watching the first three, and I was like.... okay WHERE'S MA BANKAI!?!!?!?
Of course I forward the "episode" later and its still doing those contraptions, then coming here finding out I got owned. ;_; |
