Can't connect to IRC #gfchat
 

Hello,

I post this message because it's just impossible to join the #gfchat on PSIGenix.
When I request the channel listings and try to connect on #gfchat I get this message :

#gfchat unable to join channel (address is banned)

How can I be banned before even entering it ?

Password is good, password is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.

Yeah anyway uh setting Film Reference Guy here aside for a minute your IP probably got banned in some kind of broad sweep meant to deter some random jackass who coincidentally lives near you.

Your odds of getting an exemption from said sweep are basically a piss in the wind, so

Actually your chances are pretty good, considering most of the sysops hang out in the channel. He should just give Flesh/work or unshade a quick message and I'm sure they can fix it.
