Getting Back Together
 

Broke up with my girlfriend ~1 month ago. We dated for half-a-year, but the last leg of the relationship felt forced--we were hanging out and doing things because we were a couple and thus expected to, not because we enjoyed it. So long story short, we got sick of seeing each other all the time and I broke it off.

So we're "just friends"... until last night when we're hanging out with a mutual and I drop her off and out comes all this 'we didn't try to fix things; we just gave up; we should give it another chance' stuff. She's crying and I'm trying to be receptive, so I agree to Take 2 without really fully wanting to.

Now I'm not sure what to do... I don't want to lead her on, but I don't want to throw away a chance that could maybe conceivably work out for the better. Don't know where to go from here. Thoughts?
