Movie of the Week Club
 

Anyone interested in this? I was hoping to explore and discuss more obscure, off-the-record movies with some knowledgable folks.

This would be enacted through a simple torrent download of a certain film so you can do it on your own time, free of charge.

Let me know regarding your thoughts. I would like to start this in the next week or so.

I could be down for this. Ever seeing Brick a few years back and realizing how awesome off the record movies can be, I've been interested in finding hidden gems.

Only problem is, Paramount nailed my ass for er...'illegally viewing' Monsters Vs Aliens so I kinda feel like I'm being watched.

Sounds interesting enough, what sort of movies did you have in mind Tal?

Also, Perhaps we could even expand (or splinter off) a once-a-week (or twice a month?) viewing of some old movie via streaming and have a running commentary going on from all watchers (sort of like the drunken OH GOD NOT THE BEES event but with optional alcohol).

God I love threads like this. I'm down and I think that the streaming idea is awesome on so many levels.

is this still happening? broadening your tastes is always a good thing and i think i can offer some oldies but goodies.
