I originally posted this link in my journal and talked about it on the radio show, but it needs to be disseminated to a larger audience because it's just so good. It's put together by a couple of librarians, dedicated to books that are either terribly outdated, or should never have existed at all. Here are some examples:






I haven't made it through the archive yet, but there are so many great titles here, with descriptions and excerpts from the books.

You know, I read your journal entry and heard you talk about it on the radio show, but I still didn't piece together that I heard about this site before until just now. The two women who run the site were on Jimmy Kimmel Live about a month ago, and they brought some pretty hilarious examples on there.

Someone on the radio mentioned they were on Jimmy Kimmel (there's an entry). Stop watching Eastwick and pay attention.

Eastwick wasn't even on, so I probably wasn't listening due to half the callers being from Canada.

Yeah, I said it because once you go back far enough in their archives they've posted several videos and pictures of them on and preparing to go on Jimmy Kimmel.

I'd post some of my favorites from the site, but I'm currently hijacking a random classroom computer. You'll all have to wait for your 1940's teen party tips. They're the bees' knees (but don't show your real knees, you skank)!
