Electropop Music Suggestions?
Heya,
I'm hoping for some song suggestions - why? Because I haven't listened to music in a LONG time and just started on the radio so I know there's a lot of good music I'm missing out on ... so here goes.... Kinda music I love are ones with a funky/fun beat, sexy/teasing music (not necessarily sex, have lyrics and no rap (at least not the "traditional rap") and I'm okay with Rock example: -Silly Boy by Eva Simmons -Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake -I actually like some Brittany Spears music - example "If you seek amy", "Toxic" and "Gimme More"... (yeah I know... people hate her) -Rock examples of what I like: Evanescene and some Nickelback Would appreciate any suggestions along those lines - even if they're crazy or completely out there - I will check them all out! Editing: Sorry wrong section - I hope it gets moved quickly >..........< |
Sorry dear, it seems you have taken the wrong step and landed in General Game Music Discussion. What you'd likely want is Media Centre or one of the sub-forums therein, which is up the hall, past the vending machines. :)

Shoot I hope a mod/admin moves this topic

It's kind of hard to recommend anything to someone who likes Nickelback, because taste just flew right out the window, through a tornado, and squarely into Oz. But anyway, depending on your personal definition of electropop, I would recommend:
Fischerspooner Freezepop Lacquer (see the Music Exposure Club) Little Boots Black Kids MGMT Goldfrapp Lady Gaga I'm sure there's something you'd like in there. |
Step one: Ignore all modern synth pop shit. Delete all of your Evanescence and Nickelback, and any other radio rock made after 1990 you might have kicking around on your computer.
Step two: Obtain Ultravox's Vienna and Buggles' The Age of Plastic. Step three: Go on a new wave binge. |
Depeche Mode in the nineties and before, YES.
Also try Super Furry Animals, it's fun. |
Oh yeah get Violator it's basically essential.

For a few entire years, I lived electro-pop. New Order is still the best thing I took away from the whole experience.
Bernard Sumner also teamed up with Johnny Marr for the side project Electronic. You should check out their first album, also called Electronic. |
