Pseudobabble!
Pseudobabble (PseudoBabble - Home) is a java-based sentence-making game! Sometimes you must make sentences according to a theme, sometimes not. The game provides you with a pool of words (plus punctuation and some suffixes), and you click-and-drag them into the sentence bar.

If you can't find anybody except bitter housewives, things are pretty lame. http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/pseudo02.jpg If you can get people with an actual sense of humor, however: http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/pseudo04.jpg Okay what I'm saying is we should totally organize some GFFer games here because this shit is potential hilarity which is being squandered by literal-minded hausfraus, and they get all INDIGNANT when you waltz into their room and start making rape jokes  (thread gets three posts and dies ignominiously) GFFers on Pseudobabble: Pangalin (as Pangalin) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/pangbabble.png Mo0 (as Mo0) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/mo0babble.png nuttyturnip (as nuttyturnip) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/nuttybabble.png Krelian (as fnool) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/krelbabble.png Rangel (as Rangel) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/rangelbabble.png Crash Landon (as CrashLandon) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/crashbabble.png sprouticus (as sprouticus) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/sproutbabble.png Sousuke (as Sousuke) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/sousukebabble.png Terminus (as Bounds) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/termbabble.png Devo (as devolution7) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/devobabble.png Tritoch (as Manablade) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/tritochbabble.png Kishin (as Kishin) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/kishinbabble.png Rychord (as Rychord) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/rychordbabble.png Dr. Uzuki (as Nateiums) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/docbabble.png Garr (as Garr) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/garrbabble.png knkwzrd (as knkwzrd) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/knkbabble.png Worm (as Worm) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/wormbabble.png Denicalis (as DaDoubleDeni) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/denibabble.png a lurker (as lurks) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/babble_lurker.png AcerBandit (as AcerBandit) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/acerbabble.png Dullenplain (as dullenplain) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/dullbabble.png Capo (as capo) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/capobabble.png Hyde (as HydeGFF) http://www.saxypunch.com/miscimg/hydebabble.png |
I want to play this game with you right now, Pang, let's go.
|
I'm in the lobby but your ass ain't there
You talkin' shit again, Mo0? You talkin' shit? Additional Spam: Ok we got a game goin' right now, hustle it up fags |
Somewhere Awful lobby fellas
|
Sounds like an old game I played called Acrophobia. If you guys are playing late tonight, I will try it out.
|
Very fun. Too bad I think the EPA blocks java games.
|
game's still goin' garr
just follow the link :tpg: |
The session earlier was mad fun, not gonna lie.
Noodle fluid would be one. Something with wrist is another. And the players are sick fucks but fun as hell to be around. |
This better be fun, I gave this thing my e-mail.
|
A thing.
|
|
I made an account for this awhile back after seeing it in someone's journal (Garr?), but no one was ever on when I checked. Looks like your room is full now, so hopefully I'll catch one some other time.
|
Yeah, it was Krel's journal from back in July. I didn't realize it had been that long.
|
:tpg::tpg::tpg::tpg::tpg:
Last night was fucking hilarious. I still can't stop guffawing at "corn happens". Also, I hope you guys know that you can view your stats on the site - lists of your most popular sentences, etc. I'm dredging up some shit I'd completely forgotten about. Think you could update the OP with a list of people playing, Pang (and their pseudobabble usernames)? |
I've added everyone I can remember showing up and anyone with a username I recognize in the newest registrations list — anybody I missed, yell at me.
I wish we could make private rooms as well Devo, but as it is the occasional Goon incursion is much better than dealing with a stream of clueless pubbies we'd get using the other rooms. Besides, the dictionary used for the goon rooms is much more expansive to say the least. |
Me want to play!
I played that a while ago. It was plenty fun, even with the bitter housewives, who didn't like my misuse of irregular verbs as nouns. |
I forgot to mention that I'm Manablade on there, so you can add me to the list.
|
vvv Yeah, you're right. They have no real authority when I think about it, and we basically outnumber the goons who give a shit so  |
Fuck that. The game's main draw lies in turning perfectly innocent words into the foulest shit imaginable. The obscene wordset drains every last bit of joy out of it. Plus, there's no way for the goons to maintain pathetic dominion over their "private" room; if they bitch and moan to the admin about outsiders then he'll probably throw a tantrum and delete the place again, and none of us want that to happen. They're not even paying for the privilege of having their own space, FFS.
it doesn't really concern those of us who are already batting for both sides, but goddamn this kind of thing irritates me on principle |
Is that what happens when everyone's name mysteriously disappears? The admin has wiped the room?
|
It's pretty retarded considering
a) Half of us are goons already anyway b) The rest of us who aren't goons have very goon-compatible senses of humor 3) goony goony goon goon goonerson GOONS Nah, Crash, the name disappearing thing was the game just vomiting. Judging by the SA thread about the game there was a massive influx of goons who proceeded to write filthy things that ended up on the front page. The reason SA has their own space now is due in part to it being excluded from the main page. They have already lost it once before. |
