Omega Striker 7.1 Drivers/Control Panel

I recently picked this up to replace my Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer, mostly just to have a better (and ToSLink supported) sound card, and because, ironically, Creative drivers tend to suck ass. The first song I listened to did sound quite a bit better, but at this point I can't tell much of a difference anymore. That probably has more to do with my limited sound system though.

So naturally, I'm having trouble with these drivers (and of course, on Newegg, this is both the highest rated sound card and reviewers generally rave about the drivers). I constantly have to keep reinstalling these drivers because I keep losing support for all of the card's features, like DTS Neo 7, Xear 3D, effects, and equalization. Volume control is the only thing that consistently works. I'm using the Windows 7 drivers (I have Vista 64) because I read there was a mistake with how Omega labeled the drivers or something (and sure enough, the Vista 64-bit drivers never worked right anyway).

So does anyone else use this sound card and how are the drivers working for you? Should I RMA this thing, wait to see if new improved drivers come out (and work), switch to Windows 7 and see what happens, or what?

I really hope these guys add some bass control and whatnot the next time they update the drivers. Creative drivers might be flaky, but the control panel had considerably more options.
