Buy Chibi Robo.
Chibi Robo is the most underrated video game of the year by far. You should all go out and get it.
Everybody I've introduced it to has liked it. |
I would, but it's 50 dollars.
This game should have been 30-40 tops. Come on, even Katamari Damacy premiered at $20. |
I have a feeling that this might be one of those games that's going to be harder to find down the road.
|
Meh, I'm one of the few people that I know that has seen it, even sat down and played it for two hours, and just wasn't interested. Meanwhile, I know 5-6 others that have been instantly hooked, and a couple that either shared my feelings, or didn't care at all. Overall seems to be a great game that just isn't for everyone.

It's $75 US here. :boxing: Well, it will be when it comes out in May. I think this is the first Nintendo developed GameCube game since uh.. uuhh.. Paper Mario 2 that I've been interested in. I'll probably end up buying it one day. Then perhaps play it! Reminds me of Toy Commander, possibly because they both feature toys. Also graphics, they both have graphics. And sound.
And instruction manuals. |
I have Chibi-Robo, but I have yet to give it a go. It's actually packed up in a box at the new house we are in the process of moving into. I hope to play it after we get settled in and all that good stuff.

I heard that this game is boring.
Especially because of the fact that you have to recharge everyday and have to clean up after lazy people. Is this true? |

That said, this game does have its audience. The best I can describe it as is taking the principles of Pikmin and Katamari Damacy. |
I had it for a while... I played it, but I could get interested in it... You rank up every 10 seconds, all you do is clean, and you have to recharge every three minutes. It's not really that amazing. It was a good idea... I just don't think it was executed well enough.

You rank up every 10 seconds - Once you get into the top ten it takes much, much longer to rank up. Way longer. all you do is clean - Sure, and all you do in racing games is hold the gas. you have to recharge every three minutes - There's plenty of upgrades later on, but I guess you wouldn't figure that out either, huh. See, this is a classic example of how people can only judge a book by its cover. This game has shown that some reviewers only play 3 or so hours before they have an opinion on a game. Your only credible argument then would be that it takes a while to get into. |
I'm aware of the upgrades, but the game just didn't appeal enough to me to keep me playing it.

I played the game for a bit. It's an intriguing game, that's for sure. I just don't like how I'm forced to stop whatever I'm doing because it's the end of the day. Somehow I think I would have enjoyed the game much more if it was less restrictive about time.

Looks interesting. I'm into these zany odd games. I'll add it to my personal queue of games to get, which isn't that long. I'm must just not really gonna purchase anything until next month.
